About me
I am a user-centred Senior Product Designer with 20+ years of experience across retail, ecommerce and content platforms, specialising in design systems, digital transformation and scalable product delivery. I combine UX strategy, systems thinking and CMS expertise to connect user needs with engineering and business outcomes.
Currently, I help shape the John Lewis & Partners Design System, overseeing component architecture, Figma-to-code governance and adoption across multiple squads. I recently led the migration to Amplience (Headless CMS/DAM), establishing reusable system foundations that improved workflows, collaboration and delivery efficiency.
I work closely with Product, Engineering and Leadership teams to align design direction with business goals, simplify complexity and support delivery at scale. I am known for a calm, collaborative and systems-led approach, bringing clarity to fast-moving environments while championing accessibility, consistency and design quality.
Alongside product delivery, I contribute to mentoring, accessibility initiatives and Communities of Practice that strengthen collaboration and design maturity across teams.
Beyond my professional life, I am an aspiring writer and artist, currently working on both a children’s book and a Young Adult novel set in 1980s London. On weekends, I enjoy exploring East Anglia with our three Spaniels in a converted Defender.
