About me
I am a highly experienced Designer, who for the past 20+ years has worked for leading fashion and retail brands, publications and creative agencies.
I would describe myself as a self-starter but a very collaborative person, who is excited about the ever-evolving digital space and the art of storytelling through visual communication.
Whilst generating fresh ideas, I always aim to put all customers first and stay on-brand by data and insight. One of my biggest strengths is being able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, whether that’s fellow creatives, senior leadership, trade, marketing, developers and third party providers. I believe all good design should maintain the right marketing message but always should be supported and influenced by a strategic approach.
During my career of various creative guises and positions, I have had the luxury of being able to work on engaging and inspiring solutions for Digital and Print disciplines.
Where most recently, this means as an UI Designer for John Lewis & Partner’s, specialising in content as a service and a Lead Designer at Aviva. As well as custom solutions for Vogue, Glamour, GQ, Stylist and Shortlist, collaborating with brands such as Karen Millen, M&S, Meantime Brewery and Sony - to name a few. I love to get stuck into the discovery process of defining, developing, delivering, and I also thrive on the fast pace of advertising, social and creative ideas for pitches.
When I am not trying to teach new spaniels old tricks, I am working on writing fiction based on historical events in the 80s. In the past I have enjoyed playing around with photographic stories, some examples of these shoots can be seen in Fortress Rebels and Escape to Love.
